I have a 1967 Mercury 500ss ou
I have a 1967 Mercury 500ss outboard. Up until a week ago it started easy and ran well. It turns over but will not fire. It is getting plenty of fuel but appears to have no spark(Will be testing with a spark tester this evening). I am wondering if this motor has any kind of stop/saftey switch that may be faulty. I had mid-60's 50 HP that had an actual kill switch that did this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
