well I picked another motor up did compression 3 times , good 85 85 average , that was good . cleaned gapped points coils look newer, set timing carb is soaking got to bottom end, drained , nothing but water , I ordered seal kit from ebay I pulled seals had heck of time using seal puller I even drilled holes put sheet metal screws in pulling on them with vise grips as seen on you tube I should of tried heat tough time getting out, first time doing this , is there a seal puller or special tool out there to make this job easier . is there a sealer gasket maker I can get from auto parts store to put back together , gears and clutch dog look good ,no damage I could see , and engine has broken front motor mount. here we go again, going to start splitting case today don't know why but I really like these old 9.5 motors, can pick them up cheap , this is my second one , found at garage sale for 50.00 its another very clean looking motor
