Just bought the Boat trailer and motor combo. Changed the plugs and cleaned carb. Runs great but when ever I put it in reverse it makes this god awful tapping sound like a rod knocking in a car engine. In drive it runs great this is the only problem. I took it out for 2.5 hours and ran great the whole time. An suggestions on what this may be and is it imperative that I get it fixed? I can live wihout reverse.
