1966 Johnson 6hp ignition

Just picked up a 1966 Johnson 6hp outboard CD-23E
Doesn't appear to have spark. Before I look into it further, I was curious if it was possible to convert it to a more modern ignition system than points?
Any thoughts?

There is nothing wrong with the design of that magneto.--------Parts are everywhere and affordable.----Easy to learn how to maintain that system.
