1966 1100ss

Hello everyone, I was at a garage sale a few years back and ended up leaving with this 66 mercury 1100ss. Didn't really know much about these motors, and still dont to be honest. I did know however that the price was too good to pass up. My question is can anyone give me an idea of what it might be worth? I haven't tried starting it and all the guy told me was that it ran good when the boat it was on was wrecked. Cosmetically it looks great. Thanks in advance for any help.

They are odd ball Mercs, with the old cross flow design but with the newer, larger (but also oddball) displacement. Parts are hard to find.
