"I have a 1965 Merc 39 (3.9 hp). The engine runs great, 110 lbs of compression, but while trolling along it will die because of lack of fuel. You can hear it start to fade, pump the primer bulb a few times then it picks up and runs great for a while (sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for an hour). I have rebuilt the fuel pump, checked the vacuum line & fittings for leaks, checked the fuel pick-up line for leaks. Any suggestions?}"
