Is this the belt drive V-4? If so it had 2 types of ignitions- one was a magneto. The entire ignition hung between the cylinders and had one skimpy kill wire going to the key switch. The battery system had a short housing with the points and a presto lite coil. It had a single power wire coming from the key switch. to the coil. and points wire from the coil to the points. Both were very basic.

The magneto had many of the same (but different) components as the slick mag on small airplanes.

Hope you can track down which system you have and wire the key accordingly.
