1963 Evinrude 10hp speedwin

I finally had this motor out yesterday and it seamed to be O.K. Because I am pretty new to this It seemed to run just ok to me I thought for a ten horse it should have been going a little faster I was thinking it was running hot but it seemed to passing water just fine and it wasn't to warm. I do not think this motor has ran in quite some time and i have changed the coils rebuilt the carb new points etc. I thought it was revving to high for the speed it was going after watching a couple 9.9 evinrude motors running in some you tube videos they definitely seemed to have much more to them. Any suggestions?? Would be great. It was a great boat ride though especially knowing the condition of this motor three weeks ago and lots of hours reading on this site Thanks for all the help
