I bought a carb kit and replaced everything on it however does anyone know where is a good starting spot to put the lean fast and slow adjustment too. When i start the motor it runs then shuts off ?? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
 
The motor has a hispeed needle and a lowspeed,The lowspeed or top needle should start at 1 & 1/2 open from lightly seated,The Hispeed should be 5/8s to 3/4s turn open from lightly seated.If the motor keeps shutting off, check the fuel lines for air leaks and make sure the fuel tank is vented,The fuel pump can be checked by disconnecting the out hose that goes to the carb,turn it over and see if fuel is pumping through.The hispeed cant be set until its in the water and running full speed,even the lowspeed should be in water not on muffs
 
Thanks I got it running and was able to run for a few minutes in neutral and throttle up and down then it is like it is jumping or kicking then shuts down, however it seams that it loses prime the gas is going back out any suggestions because it is pull start when you say turn it over when I pull the pulley if the fuel pump is working correctly it should spit gas
