"Hello, I recently bought a 61 Evinrude 3 HP motor. I bought it in non-running condition. I replaced the points,condensers, and spark plugs. Spark tester shows good spark. I took the carb apart and cleaned it, did not look gummed up inside and needle valves didn't really look worn. Put it back together, but motor still won't start. Do I need to rebuild the carb even though it wasn't all gummed up? The fuel line is clean going to the carb and has good flow. Maybe a float problem, even though float looked ok, maybe not working properly? Any help would be appreciated."
