I have a late 1960"s 18hp
I have a late 1960"s 18hp Fast Twin (18502). The lower unit shaft seal has been damaged by a broken shear pin. Will a lower unit from a early 1960's Johnson 18hp (Fd 14) interchange. Physically they look identical. If not how is the seal replaced. I have removed the hoizontal shaft and it is damaged to a point where it is hard to tell through the damage.
