"My manual is kind of confusing. How should I adjust the float in the carburetor when I install the new one?

"Simple, hold the carburetor up-side down and the float should be even and level with the joint on the carburetor body.Not as important as it may seem. If you disconnect the fuel on a running motor it runs just fine untill just before the bowl is empty."

"the floats do not have adjustment. check that the float arm that holds flat to the carb is not bent and remember some floats have one side curved, that side should be facing the float bowl, not the carb. Check that the needle holder its in place before fixing the bowl in the carb."
