"I have the subject motor on a 16.5 ft monarch aluminum rivet boat I bought from my late Father. The motor is a pull start, not many hours on it, but, the pull rope broke and it broke again after repair. The notch in the pull head is now sharpe and cuts the rope. How can I convert this tiller arm motor to an electric start motor? I've spent many hours looking for a solution until I found this site. I'm a retired First Sergeant and I want to go fishing!!!
