Hello all, I'm almost done rebuilding my 1958 johnson 35hp rde-19. This motor had a vintage fuel pump conversion already on it. I am installing a new fuel pump and am wondering does "position" matter as far as installation. is there a "right" side up? if i mount it right side up with hoses down I have a clearance issue with the throttle linkage. but if i mount it upside down i am clear. I wouldn't think a pulse pump wouldn't matter which way it is unless gravity has a role in function. Let me know
