I have the above motor. I am having trouble understanding how the ignition works. How does the CDII know what cylinder to fire when there is only one charge coil and one trigger. I do see there is two magnets in the flywheel.

You motor is a 1985 model.--------------Polarity of the magnets has something to do with it.--------Problems with the motor ?
