1956 Johnson FD-10 S water pump

Please help I’m loosing my mind everywhere I look it says I need the sierra marine 18-3377, but I’m pretty sure that’s what was on it and it was not correct, or at least doesn’t appear so. My lower end unit has 4 screw holes for mounting the water pump and the 18-3377 has 3 and the housing barely fits in the lower unit. I found a pump that says it fits the ten hp from the same year range, is it safe to assume that it fits or do I need a super specific one because this thing was only made one year?

???----It was made up until 1976 I believe.----Find a pump housing for a newer 18 HP model.----It fits close because the pump housing is also the " dowel " to line up the lower unit with the crankshaft.----Good stuff.

I’ve done quite a bit of digging and that specific model was a one year run and I tried the newer pump housing but the geometry is not the same

1956 FD-10 was a 15 hp engine, I have a gearcase in stock that was a 3 screw pump housing. What are you looking for?

As in the housing had three screws or the gear case has three screw holes

Yes I’m looking for the entire pump assembly; wear plate, impeller, housing, etc…
