1956 Johnson 10 hp carburator

I rebuilt the carburetor and installed it. The problem I'm having is that when I hook up the gas lines and pressurize the tank, gas starts coming out of the top of the carb. I checked the float twice to see if it is stuck or something but it is fine. So I'm kind of stuck trying to figure this one out. Any suggestions?

When you operate the button the tank it is pumping fuel into the carburetor bowl.----When motor starts crankcase compression puts air into the tank in just seconds to keep fuel flowing.----Revisit your carburetor work.----Find a u-tube video on those simple carburetors.
