1955 Johnson 25 HP

I think on your motor, when the choke is activated it opens the throttle butterfly a little bit by means of an activating lever/rod. I'll have to double check on mine as I have been working on newer stuff lately. But make sure your getting some action there when you apply full choke. Let me know. Thanks Tim

There is a lever that pulls out. The back butterfly opens completely and the front butterfly closes completely.
I am mixing at 24:1
The idle is rough at low rpm's so I think I'll pull the flywheel to check and clean/replace as needed. If anything I can eliminate this as a problem.
