"Hi, I need a bit of info on replacing a broken shifter handle on this motor. Motor is in real nice original cond and I believe the handle was broken early in this motors life as the it looks to have very little use. Im good with motors but it looks to me that the power head needs to be removed for handle application. I have no experience removing the engine portion on an outboard but it dosnt look real complicated sitting as is. Any info from those that have done this before would be greatly appreciated.
