[b]Hey i just bought a Evinrud

Hey i just bought a Evinrude motor and wanted to know what year it is. I can only find the serial number on it and that is 7516-19366. It is a 7.5 HP and i tried to look it up on google and came up with it being a 1954 Evinrude motor just was trying to get a manual to try and fix it but want to make sure this is the right year. I don't want to spend $40.00 on the wrong one. So any help would be awesome! Thanks a Bunch Mat.

Yes, it is a 1954 Fleetwin.
It uses a 16:1 Fuel/oil mixture, and a J6-J (probably not available, but has an equivalent) spark plug gapped to .030

The number 7516 is the model number. The remaining number is the serial number.
