1953 3hp Lightwin Which coil is upper/lower plug

Hi I have a 53Lightwin and have rebuilt the coils and all the hardware, I fear I may havemixed up which coil is for the upper or lower plug, I’m having trouble figureout the ignition wire routing, something doesn’t add up. If you looking down onthe breaker point plate which is the upper plug right or left.

?---Are you standing in front of the motor or behind the motor ?-----Port and starboard are common terms.

Standing in front of motor. I think I have theleads reversed, I have the upper (shorter) lead attached to the rear or portcoil.

You can normally use the indentations in the wires but you would need a pic of the bottom of the plate before you took it apart. Maybe you can find a pic of a assembled plate on ebay? The top plug wire has the metal band on it.

The coil closest to the front of the motor (carburetor) is the upper one.
