"hasn't been run in over 25 years. ran great back then and have all confidence it will run again. what oil and at what mixture should i use. decal on motor says use sae 40. cant remember what i used to use. also need a few parts for recoil start pulley installation. bolt, bearing etc. how about the little springs that keep the pawls extended to engage recoil pulley?"

You can use todays oil mix it

You can use todays oil mix it at 24:1
I have a 1951 model in the 5 h/p and I use the wally world super tech oil. Works good on it.
I have gotton parts fron twincities outboard for it. or better yet ask joe reeves on here and he might still have some parts for it.

Oops, its a tn 26 vice 25. motor started right up after 25 years of sitting around. flushed fuel system, new gas and plugs and fired on first pull. water pump working fine. float in carb hanging up or needle and seat has crud in it. carb flooding out. where can i get a carb kit? thanks, Gary"
