1948 Johnson 5 hp TD Shear pin size

Does anyone know the length and diameter of the shear pin for this model?
I've got a 1958 18 hp that I use 3/16 brass rod for my shear pins.
I was just curious if anyone knew before I pulled it off and measured it.

You can use that brass rod in your 18 if you want to. But it isn't correct. Correct pin is a stainless steel DRIVE pin. It is not intended to shear. The rubber hub in the propeller protects the drive train while grinding up rocks.

OK, now, Ill see if I can find the spec for your TD May take me a few minutes.

EDIT: Sorry, all I can find on the TD is the part number, which is 300592. Material is Monel. Size---I don't know.
