I have just picked up a Johnson Model F 70. Anyone have a clue of its value It starts and runs but have not ran it for more than a few seconds at a time. from what I can tell its a 1934 year is there any value or a market to these. Certainly needs a good cleaning been in a barn for many years

Hope these load

I dont imagine it is worth much as a whole but maybe if you part it out?

Oh my goodness, perish the greedy thought. It may be true that its is worth less than might hope for, but please don't part it out unless it is a hopeless case. They aren't making any more of these things so let's not destroy something of historic value. There are collectors that want it. A (free) ad on the Antique Outboard Club's website should find a buyer. www.aomci.org Purpose of the club is the restoration and preservation of antique outboard motors.

Thanks

I could not part this out, it still starts and runs. It needs a good home I just can find much out there on it for a value. From the pics I can find these are pretty cool looking and with a good cleaning and some TLC this may not be perfect but must still have some value.

Love the comments and thanks for those who have replied.

A lot is going to depend on where you are located. Some areas of the country have lots of old motors, others have few. Shipping costs are often a deal breaker.
