19?? Mariner 15hp. NEED HELP..

Guys,
I have recently purchased a 19?? Mariner 15hp Serial # 651S17089.
I'm not sure of the year, I'm needing to know the year so I can order an ignition (missing when purchased). I have searched threads to see if anyone was having a common issue but I didn't have any luck.... I did notice the Yamaha possibly built this one. If so, can I use a yamaha ignition?

all you need is the serial number to find the correct parts....

651 S 17089 makes it a 1977 Yamaha built Mariner.And yes you can use the Yamaha ignition from the early '70s

It looks like all I'll need are the secondary coils. Is there a way to cross reference the PN and find one that would work? Are all coils the same?
