Im not shaw what year model my motor is here is the serial number OC221001. Iv been told its a 1989 model and iv also been told its a 1990 model.
And also has anyone had this kind of motor apart?im thinking ill pull mine apart looks like it needs a new sleeve.Piston etc but i haven't pulled it apart yet and i don't have a clue were to start.Any help is much appreciated.
Ill be needing a workshop manual if anyone knows were i could get one cheap seconded hand one i don't care if it has been used as long as i can read it.

It appears to be an 89 model.----------You start by removing the powerhead from the exhaust housing.------That must be done in order to do major powerhead work.
