Hi
After some advice please.
I have a 175 mariner i think its a 1992 model or around the erea give or take a few years.
I have it on a ski boat but i think the leg is to short for it.
Does anyone know if these motors came out with long and short legs.
Its my first boat so im learning as i go along.

I have the motor on an old ski boat.Whilst skiing behind the boat i can actully see the prop just out of the water.

Can you get an extension for the short leg and a longer drive sharft.

I live in australia im guessing this is an american website.Are there many aussies on here? who know where to get second hand parts.

Another question.
If the motor is in good condition.Does anyone know how much the motor would be worth?

Most of those motors were made for a 20" high transom ( vertical measurement )---------------Some were made for 25" high transom.--------------Any pictures showing the motor set-up relative to the transom???

It is 19 years old. Check the "For Sale" ads in the local paper or on-line. Good even cylinder compression will get the most money. Otherwise it's just a parts motor.
