I have a 1998 Sea Rayder with

I have a 1998 Sea Rayder with 175 Sport jet was running perfect. Until last weekend I shut it down for an hour and it never restarted just cranked and cranked I dont think it is a fuel problem any suggestions?

"Todd, when a motor just "dies" out of the blue could be so many issues that there is no sense guessing.

Start with the basics. Check the compression at each cylinder.

Make sure there is strong spark at each cylinder. No sense searching out the entire fuel system if you simply have a bad mercury switch.

If compression is good and spark is good, then you know it's a fuel problem.

Your results from the first two basic tests though, will determine what to concentrate on next..."
