Hey all, new to the forum, but hoping to get some insight, I have number one cylinder on a 175 johnson faststrike that had a broken piston and and the sleeve needs replaced it has some broken pieces, I have the piston out and re-ringed along with the other pistons, however I am not sure as how to remove the sleeve, I would appreciate any advice

Usually, the sleeve is being bored out to fit a larger size of ring and piston set. Or bore all the way out to insert a new sleeve.
To remove the sleeve you need to heat up the block to above 300 degree for the aluminum to expand and then press the old sleeve out. You also need to insert the new sleeve immediately before the block cools down.
This is the job for a machine shop to do. I repair outboard motors for a couple of decades, but still send this type of job to a machine shop.
