15hp power pack question

Pulled my flywheel to change the throttle cam and noticed that the flywheel has been rubbing the power pack. The engine still starts and runs ok. Should I put a new one on it? The engine has had a miss in it that I can not figure out,could this cause it to miss? I would attach an image but I can't figure it out lol!

Perhaps there is a bearing problem ?------Or the powerpack needs to be adjusted a wee bit.-----------A new powerpack solves all kinds of problems I hear.

you just did,but we call this hyjacking someone else's post, First click on Home Page,select proper forum,Merc.,Rude.,Johnson, then click on blue box that says"post new threads" right below Online Manuals
