15hp Johnson 91 Died & won't start

Anyone out there have any ideas about what would make a motor that's running good, starting easy, idles forever
Suddenly die after about 10 min. and never start again??

I think I need the compression test 1st thing.
Can you tell me or refer me to some instruction on how to test the electrical circuits.
I have a tester but really have no idea what I'm looking at..

If it died suddenly , like a key was turned off then the first thing to check is the kill switch and spark.
