15hp Evinrude bushing help

I bought a boat with a 15 hp Evinrude on it last year and am finally getting around to working on it. It fires up and runs good but I have 2 problems. The problem I'm really struggling to figure out on diagrams etc... the whole thing is very sloppy like there is a bad bushing underneath the motor itself, I don't really know how to explain it but right below the motor housing I guess you could call it, it slops back and forth like there is a worn out bushing. I am looking for help identifying that part!! The other issue is when I first got it in the water, a little bit of water came out the pee hole on the side of the motor and then none was coming out after that and it was heating up quite a bit. What would be a good place to start diagnosing that issue? I asked the local boat shop to get it fixed but they had no interest with it being an older motor and are not overly friendly to begin with. Anyways, looking for any help I can get on where to start.

Pull the lower unit & replace the water pump.
As for the free play, older motors had rubber mounts that disbonded, look close at the mounts.

preciate the help man! Any other parts or pieces I should have on hand and ready when doing the water pump? I've never tore apart one of these so not sure what else can pop up along the way.

Model # of your motor?----Powerhead must be removed to inspect replace the upper mounts.----These mounts are not cheap.----Used ones can be found.---A new impeller is usually all that is needed.----Not sure why a shop would refuse to do a water pump job on this motor.----A 1974 and 2005 model are the exact same procedure / parts for that simple job!

Model # should be 15604A. 1976 is the year. Not sure why they do either but they've always seemed to not want any of the smaller or older stuff.

Asked a shop owner years ago.----" what is your labor rate " ?----He said $57.50 / HR-----I asked if that was for a $50 motor or for work on a $50,000 boat.----He replied with-----I have to pay my mechanic the same rate.----And shop taxes are year round fees.----So revenue needs to be generated to cover overhead.
