Just bought a boat to refurbis
Just bought a boat to refurbish that has a Johnson gt 150 1990 model. From the first time I have had it in the water every ten seconds I get a warning buzzer/beep/horn - I am assuming this is the low oil or no oil warning. Motor is pushing plenty of water - bulb on oil is hard - i could see oil in the water. Motor finally shut down and would not restart. Got it home and got it restarted and it would run for 2-3 minutes then shut down again sounding the warning. I am a shadetree mechanic at best but am willing to learn what should I do? Thanks for any help.
