Yesterday when I started my 2006 model 150 E-Tec I noticed all four system check lights ( gauge warning lights) remained on and after a few seconds they all started blinking and the engine died. It started back up with no problem but the lights stayed on again, began to blink and the engine shut off. This happened four times and then it worked correctly for the rest of the day. It was a 45 degree day and the engine had not been started for 6 weeks so I’m not sure if the engine dying had anything to do with the System Check Circuit. Any ideas for the cause?
