I dont think you will find one

I dont think you will find one on a '75 model. It first appeared on the '77 models where it exits from the bottom cover stb'd side rear corner.
Check the model number to determine the exact year

"the pee hose,..is just an indicator..u would have the same pump,as,is used on all 9.9 & 15's."

"As JWBMarine says the pee hol

"As JWBMarine says the pee hole is only an indicator. It tells you that the the pump is pumping and can often lull you into a false sense of security about the cooling system as a whole or cause unnecessary concern when it gets blocked.

The main cooling water flow is discharged into the leg and exits underwater with the exhaust gases. Normally though you would expect to see some water, just as a spray or a few droplets, coming out of the exhaust relief port at the top of the leg.

There is an item on the engine faqs board about adding a tell tale to engines that do not have one if you are that concerned."

"when its running there is some water that comes outa the exaust.

"The bit with the two bolts going through it is the lower mounting bracket. Below it you can see the shift rod passing from the bottom of the swivel bracket assembly into the bottom part of the exhaust housing assembly. There are no seals around it at that point so yes you'll get water coming out of there but there should be a gromet down there. Perhaps that's missing so you get more water comming out that you would otherwise

and for the pics the way i did it it works on other fourms.

"Friend has one, and I see the pee coming out of the left side, under the metal- beneath the light motor cover. Probably in the middle of the left side, or 3/4.

Hope that helps."

"a rubber washer that is broke. or is that the gromet?"

Yes i think that must be the remains of the grommet but I cant decide if it is vitally important. Maybe not. I think it will be a big job to replace it but something to be done next time you drop the lower unit to renew the pump impeller.

I know about how pictures are posted on other forums. This one works completely differently. Not so easy but there are lots of things you can do that you cant on the others.

The "shaft" you can se

The "shaft" you can see in that gap is just the gear shift rod. When you operate the gear shift you should see it move up and down.(Turn the prop slowly as you operate it because the clutch may not engage if you dont)
