1409 swap Question

When installing the 1409 carb what do you do with the fuel pump vent?Thanks guys

I don't have vented pumps..so I just left mine, they work great, just put mine back in the water, went down to the marina to get the engines going on Saturday, had the spark plugs out for the winter so I was able to spin both motors over fast for about a min each, put the plugs back in, after cleaning & re gapping, port engine started first turn of the key, starboard had to be pumped twice then fired, not bad for 39 yr old engines, with 1500 hrs on them

There is a "nipple" on the carb for that third fuel pump line. It's on the right side, about 2/3rds of the way back.

check out the yellow/green hose on the starboard side of the carb. It comes from the fuel pump.
