I have a 1979 Mariner 140 inli
I have a 1979 Mariner 140 inline 6 on a 16 ft aluminium bass boat when the motor runs good it runs good but it has days where it just dosent hardly want to run at all I have had the carbs off three times now and rebuilt the fuel pump once just when I thought it was fixed I let it sit for a week and once again its not runing very well you can tell its trying to load up at an idle and you cant hardly get it to plain it just spits an sputters the more throttle you give it but in neutral you can rev it fine when I finnaly got it to plain out it ran great top end but when I brought it back to an idle I had the same problem.
