Working on a 1976 motor, having spark issues. Replaced timer base had short. Now I dont have spark on cylnder 3. I think i need a new power pack. just wanted any suggestions before I got one.

Did you try swapping coils with a known good cyl ??

tried a good coil and plug. Did not get spark
