"I was wondering if an automotive head will fit on a marine engine. If so, are there any modifications needed to adapt it to fresh water cooling? The engine that I have is a 130c with a b20 block. I have available to me a head off of a 1973 Volvo P140 series car.

"I am not sure about the head but I know the alot of the parts from a 1972-74 volvo 142 or p1800 with the B20 engine fit my AQ130C.

"It is cracked in multiple places. I bought this boat from my neighbor. He is not very mechanical and only had the boat for a short time. I don,t have much money in to it so far. I bought it for $100 dollars. I was told it would cost $400 to fix."
