I just replaced the stator in

I just replaced the stator in my '88 125hp outboard but it still won't fire. Can anyone advise me what the problem might be?

It could be the trigg

It could be the trigger, CD unit or ignition coils, but first disconnect the wire that grounds out the CD unit when turning off the engine. This should be a black/yellow stripe wire, but on a Force it could also be white.

If you get spark with the wire disconnected, there is a problem with the ignition switch or harness.

"Tony, when I turn the key aft

"Tony, when I turn the key after putting the new stator on I get voltage to the first 4 terminals on the terminal block. I do not get voltage to the other terminals. I only get 1/2 volt to the first 4 however. Any suggestions?"
