125 hp force running rich

I have 83 125 hp force that se

I have 83 125 hp force that seems to be running rich. I cleaned the carbs and set the floats but what to set the jet on the top of the carbs at. I set them were they wear when i took them apart but it just seems rich. Thank for looking

try turning each carb mixture

try turning each carb mixture screw in 1/4 turn at a time
