120 hp to a 140 hp

Would the cyl head be the same on a Merc 120 hp. ( 4 cyl GM ) and a 140 HP OMC ( 4 cyl GM ) A fellow at work has a 3.0 OMC with a cracked head. and I have a 120 hp Merc engine in a boat I had given to me.
