120 HP I/O engine on 1978 Galaxy, won't start

Just purchased this boat. Can't get the engine started. Ran last year in August just fine, then stored for winter. Will start if you put gas directly into the engine, but won't continue to run, once that gas has evaporated from the carburetor. Have replaced the fuel pump and all fuel lines. What else can I do? Have checked spark plugs and they seem fine also.

Ayuh,... If yer gettin' gas flow TO the carb, 'n no gas into the motor,...

I'd say it's time to pull the carb, 'n Rebuild it, as it's Plugged up somewhere...

Do you actually have fuel in the tank?
Did you add any additives to the fuel? fuel could have turned to a gel.

Welcome aboard !
Straight from the fuel pump inlet to a external tank of fuel see if it runs. If it does then you know the problem is below the fuel pump say maybe the anti-syphin valve " one way valve " connected to the fuel pickup tube in the gas tank. Just unscrew it from the top of the tank. And blow thru it. The fuel pickup tube will come up with it. Check that.
Say it doesn't run then unhook the fitting that enters the carb there is a filter element in that fitting.You have a new fuel pump on it? That fuel pump is rated 4-6 psi no more no less ?
