115hp Johnson alarms

Just started happening every once in a while…. Will get the HOT, CHECK ENGINE, LOW OIL alarms in succession. Runs fine. Has been converted to premix a couple years ago, so no oil injection. Water pump seems to be working well, so I don’t believe it is overheating. Could it just be a short or a bad gauge?

If you do not know the age / condition of the impeller you should replace it.----Easy to do at home.
