115 4 stroke cutting out at wot

I have a 2006 115 4 stroke. It idles fine and up to around 3500-4000 rpm I have no issues. When I go to full throttle it starts to feel like the motor is cutting out. The tack will go up and down from 5300-4300rpms. Its really intermittent and it only seem to do it after I have been running for 5-10 minutes.
Also what kind of RPMs should I be getting at full throttle with this motor? Motor was recently tuned up and the mechanic said everything looked ok on the computer. When I mentioned the cutting out issues he said that the injector my need to be cleaned, I their any kind of stuff I could run through the engine myself to try and fix this without a trip back to the shop. Any suggestions or comments would be a great help.

Mercury sells some stuff...i dont have it in front of me but one bottle has a blue label and one a yellow label...the yellow is the cleaner and the blue is the treatment...double or triple the recommended amount of the yellow the first couple of tanks....after that use as recommended..it goes a long way..this may not be your trouble..first of all what is the brand of the motor?...i am reading this out of the new posts and not individual forums by brand...it could very well be a gas feed problem...if you pump the bulb does it still fail?...no air leaks between the tank and the motor?vent open?how old is the gas?does it have a water filter and is it clean etc?same with inline filter..
eventually you are going to have to decide if it is fuel or fire related....use an inductive timing light for this...

Injectors are fine, they are either dirty or not. You problem shows itself after running for 10-15 minutes? When is the last time you replaced all of the fuel filters? Check to make sure your water sep filter is not loose.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I will definitely give them a try.
The water separator and fuel filter are about 3 months old and the fuel is about a month old and had stabil marine added to it when I filled up. I am going to try and run the motor off of some fresh fuel this weekend and also check for any fuel line leaks.

Is anyone familiar with a doing a "shock treatment " with a product called ringfree to clean out the injectors? Their was a few post from a while back that talked about it but no real instructions.

Adding chemicals to your engine is not going to fix an intermittent problem. You will need to replace all the filters, make sure you do not have a fuel restriction, hook a fuel pressure gauge on the engine and see where the pressure is when the problem occurs.
