i bought a replacement fuel pump,mounted iy on the engine, but there is no clearance for the fuel lines the shift lever throttle linkage is in the way can anyone tell me what to do ...thanks..dick

Is the replacement fuel pump identical to the original pump, that is...... is it the proper fuel pump for the engine?
