hello! thanks for reading this first of all... you can newb shame me all you want... but the fact of the matter is i searched a bit and figured someone might have a faster answer then it takes me to browse through so many threads...
first i bought a 1996 mariner 175 magnum efi. runs great almost always.... but sporadically it will just cut on/off for just a split second during various rpm ranges and times... i cant logically understand what would cause this... any help would be greatly appreciated. i may end up just taking to a dealership to look at if i, or you cant figure it out haha....
second i'm trying to learn and be a DIY guy so i'm getting ready to winterize my boat but having a problem finding specs on oil/grease and other various stuff for the engine and components... does anyone know of a good site or a place to nab a owners manual of a old engine? i'm kind of OCD on making sure i'm using the right grease and oils and doing the right maintenance on this...
