All
I recently had a 2008 F150 installed. When I come out of gear, both forward and reverse, into neutral quickly, the motor will stall most of the time. If I go to neutral SLOWLY with a short pause just before neutral, it will not. The RPMs will fall and catch back up but it doesnt stall. The idle speed seems low to me. I had it out on the water yesterday and in neutral, on my digital tach, it was showing as low as 575 rpm, usually 600 - 650.
It also grinds going into forward gear and I am shifting firmly and quickly. It runs rough when first shifted, then a second "thunk" as I advance the throttle to maybe 800-1000 rpms, engine smooths out after that.
Advise or thoughts?
Thanks
