07 350 Mag MPI bad miss/stumble 2k-4k RPM's only under load

I don't think replacing the cap with a Merc part will solve it. They are junk for my money. The replacement I used is an Autolite part from NAPA.

I haven't had a chance yet to check the indexing of the distributor, still waiting for the TDC tool. I do have a couple of pictures of it that show what I'm talking about with the coil wire and how it lands right in that bracket. That's what makes me think it could be a tooth off.

Also pulled the injectors tonight, having the flow tested and cleaned. A couple of them did have some rust in them, as did the regulator housing cap on the cool fuel module?
