03 tracker pt185 silver anniversary edition loud beep

just bought the boat and put it in the water. fired right up and when i lowered the motor all was fine, give her some throttle and she beeped loud. raise the motor up some and beep goes away unless i give it throttle or lower the motor again then it beeps constantly.

what year make and model of motor? if 2 stroke oil injected low oil or overheat.
